Mass Can Be ‘Created’ Inside Graphene, Say Physicists

If you reduce the number of space-like dimensions in graphene (a form of carbon) from two to one (by rolling it up), the electrons and holes will create mass, according to physicists at the Saudi Center for Theoretical Physics.
