about ::

Biomimicry — the practice of looking deeply into nature for solutions to engineering + design challenges — has inspired a documentary film with a ground-breaking vision for creating a long-term, sustainable civilization.

This short documentary — titled BioMimicry — explores how mimicking nature solves some of our most pressing global problems — such as reducing carbon emissions and saving water. Narrated by engineering expert Janine Benyus and presented by Leonardo di Caprio.
