Microsoft researchers are developing an armband worn on the forearm that recognizes finger movements by monitoring muscle activity.

The MUCI (muscle-computer interface) is intended to make controlling computers and gadgets easier in situations where the user is otherwise engaged, for example, when driving a car or taking part in a meeting.
