Nanoflowers Improve Ultracapacitors

Researchers at the Research Institute of Chemical Defense (China) have developed a replacement for activated-carbon electrodes used in current ultracapacitors: a nanotube-manganese-oxide composite electrode that stores twice as much charge and delivers five times as much power.
