Making Carbon Nanotubes into Long Fibers

Rice University scientists have developed a new method of assembling carbon nanotubes into conductive fibers hundreds of meters long that might be used as lightweight, efficient wires for the electrical grid or as the basis of structural materials and conductive textiles.
