ACM Symposium on Software Visualization

August 9, 2010

Symposium on Software VisualizationThe ACM Symposium on Software Visualization (SoftVis), now in its fifth edition, is the premiere forum for researchers from different backgrounds (HCI, software engineering, programming languages, visualization, and computer science education) to present original research on software visualization. Software visualization encompasses the development and evaluation of methods for graphically representing different aspects of software, including its structure, its abstract and concrete execution, and its evolution. Topics of interest include: visualization of algorithms, web services, databases, debugging, security applications and many more. SoftVis is sponsored by ACM SIGCHI, SIGGRAPH, SIGPLAN, and SIGSOFT, and in cooperation with ACM SIGCSE. SoftVis is part of IEEE VisWeek’10 and shares a single registration.
