2010 American Society for Nanomedicine Conference
September 22, 2010
The American Society for Nanomedicine’s (ASNM) second annual conference will be held at the Bolger Center in Potomac, Maryland, USA on October 14-16, 2010. For this conference, ASNM has worked with the HIV/AIDS Research Program at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), the result of which is a joint conference with a focus on exploring the use of nanotechnology to address HIV/AIDS-specific research questions and clinical applications. ASNM, in conjunction with the HIV/AIDS Research Program, will host a workshop in which nanomedicine researchers and HIV/AIDS investigators will share strategies and methods to address their respective challenges. The first half of the conference will focus on this joint effort, while the second half will focus primarily on capturing the recent developments in the field of nanomedicine more broadly.
