A new technique may soon give researchers a lot more control over manipulating stem cells: researchers at RIKEN Yokohama Institute’s Omics Science Center combined powerful computer modelling with “deep sequencing” — a process that decodes huge numbers of DNA sequences to discover where and how certain genes are switched on and off.
