HP Social Computing Lab has built a prototype augmented-reality app called Gloe (for web and Android) that adds geotagged web content to locations.

So far, it includes pre-populated content from Wikipedia, review and photo sharing sites; automatic tag-clouds to see content type by category; and Facebook Connect integration.
