IBM’s Pensieve personal-assistant software will help people recall events, names of new acquaintances, and details of a conversation, using a cell phone and computer.

The phone can snap photos, create text documents, or record audio, and can be synched it to a computer, where software creates associations between tagged GPS location and time, among other rules.
