PopTech 2014: Rebellion

PopTech | Since 1996, the PopTech conference has brought together a unique network in Camden, Maine every October.

It’s a rich experience filled with stage presentations, breakout sessions, workshops, lunches and parties in a seaside village named by Forbes as one of “America’s Prettiest Towns.”

At PopTech 2014: Rebellion, design visionary John Maeda will lead a exploration of how the spirit of rebellion has inspired some of the greatest advancements in technology, science, art, business, design and more.

Speakers include Joi Ito, director of the MIT Media Lab; Regina Dugan, advanced special-projects group lead at Google and former director of DARPA; U.S. Army General Stanley McChrystal, former commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan; Helen Fisher, renowned expert on romantic love; Paola Antonelli, senior curator at MoMA; and renowned photographer Platon.
