Apple’s iPhone 5, due out this summer, may know who owns it (using facial recognition, unlocking just for them), listen and respond to your questions (Siri AIĀ  program), provide factual answers (Wolfram Alpha) or point you to a related mobile app (where your music library and other resources are stored online), interface with third-party data sources (like Yelp for local business listings), process mobile payments via a mobile wallet (NFC chip), and work on whatever carrier you choose (combined CDMA/GSM/UTMS chipset).
