Starship Congress 2015: Interstellar Hackathon

September 3, 2015

Starship Congress: Interstellar Hackathon | Imagine scientists, researchers, and deep space organizations from all over the world, all getting together for an Interstellar Hackathon to think outside the box and hack the issues surrounding deep space travel. Now imagine you’re doing that with them.

One of the most imagination-igniting and important areas of research that humankind can currently partake in, interstellar travel is one of the things people should be thinking about. At Starship Congress 2015: Interstellar Hackathon, the goal is to make the information accessible to everyone who is interested in participating, but also to make significant progress in research and ideas, with tangible actions that can be taken.

It’s not just about physical travel, either! Go to Drexel for the event and talk about media, scifi authors, and future civilizations. Participate in an aerospace job fair. Participate in breakout groups to brainstorm. Listen to talks on propulsion physics and fusion technologies. See the winners of a poster contest. Basically what I’m saying is, whatever your interest in deep space, there are people here who share that interest and want to talk to you about it.
