Focused on the theme of “Advancement of New Frontiers for Providing Better Intelligent Robots Services”, IROS 2010 features plenary speakers Rolf Pfeifer, Steve Cousins, and Yoshiyuki Sankai.  Workshops and tutorials will take place on a variety of robotics topics, including “Robots and Musical Expression”, “Grasp Planning and Task Learning by Imitation”, “Evolutionary and Adaptive Robotics”, and “Socio-Synergistic Intelligence: Learning with Caregivers”.  There will also be video sessions and technical/organized sessions.  Two co-located events on similar subjects, the Robotics Educational Event and the Robotics Competition, and Technical Tours of facilities of interest, will be available as well.
